Learn how to draw in the Japanese anime style. A new class for beginners and advanced students will be held Tuesday, Nov. 20 and 27. A painting with watercolor class will be offered Tuesday, Nov. 6 and 13. Classes are taught from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. at customized creations in bldg. 415 near the fire station. The price is $40. Turkey Trot Run at NRC
Saturday, Nov. 17 run, walk or volunteer at the Turkey Trot on a course along the scenic Patuxent River at Navy Recreation Center Solomons. The registration fee is $20. Registration begins at 8 a.m. Race starts at 9 a.m. at the Adventure Zone. Participants will be divided into five age groups. Awards will be given for overall male and female finishers. Great Wolf Lodge Getaway

Cedar Point Officers’ Club
The Cedar Point Officers’ Club is open for lunch Monday-Friday, 11 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. offering a full menu of regional dishes, salad bar, hot buffet and satisfying sandwiches. Home care provider
The Navy’s Child Development Home program offers training and certification to military spouses to to become certified home providers. Certified providers are members of the Pax River community who provide safe and loving day care homes for children of station members. Call 301-342-0896 to learn how to become certified.
The Pilates Reformer is scheduled on a personal training basis at the energy zone. You may schedule one session, or up to 12 sessions at a time, receiving a discount for more sessions purchased. Each session is one hour with a certified instructor, focusing primarily on core strength⁄stability and balancing your body. The price is one session for $50, four sessions for $192 ($48 per session), eight sessions for $352 ($44 per session), 12 sessions for $504 ($42 per session). Register in the ITT office at least 48 hours before your first session. All sessions must be scheduled at the time of purchase. All sessions must be used within four months of purchase. Rent Cedar PointBeach House
The Cedar Point Beach House, Bldg. 486, may be rented for parties, receptions, reunions or other event. It can accommodate more than 200 guests and offers a kitchen, indoor and outdoor party area, working fireplace, heat and a playground across the street. The kitchen has recently been improved with a new stove and counters. The fee is $150 April-October and $75 November-March. Reserve your dates at the ITT office.
