Nov. 6
As part of Air Force Family Week, the Airmen & Family Readiness Center will hold a Dorm Social from 4-6 p.m.

Potomac Lanes will offer a Military Family Special from noon-6 p.m. $2.50 per game with free shoe rental.

Nov. 10
The 11th Operations Group will hold its Wingman Day from 9-11 a.m. at the Bolling Club’s Capital Ballroom after their fitness trail physical training session starting at the Slip Inn at 7:30 a.m.

Nov. 13
The 11th Wing's 2009 Wingman Day theme is ‘‘We Are Family” and it will be held from 8-11 a.m. at the Bolling Club’s Capital Ballroom. The morning will consist of opening remarks from 11th Wing commander and command chief master sergeant, followed by briefings ranging from safety to suicide awareness, plus sexual-assault response and others.

Nov. 13
The Ultimate Amazing Race, a 10-kilometer run with obstacles, will begin at noon. All participants will receive a T-shirt, and prizes will be awarded for first-, second- and third-place winners. Call 202-767-5895 for information.

The Air Force Officers' Wives Club luncheon will begin at 10:30 a.m. at the Bolling Club. Guests are welcome. The speaker will be John C. Metzler Jr., Arlington National Cemetery superintendent.
