MCX Parking Deck to be closed
The top level only of the MCX parking deck will be closed for parking only, one way traffic will be able to use a portion of the top section to exit. The purpose of this is to reinstall the ant-slip epoxy coating to the parking deck prior to the weather. A portion, roughly half, will be closed for the application of the epoxy while traffic uses the other half. Once that half is done the closure will be flip-flopped maintaining traffic flow. There will be a short duration of time where traffic will need to be stopped from using the upper deck entirely while the actual egress is being worked. At least two-weeks notice will be given and its duration should be no more than four days.
The project is expected to be completed by Dec. 5. We will make every attempt to cause the least amount of disturbance to patrons of the MCX and to shorten the schedule. However weather is of utmost concern for this process.
