The flu vaccine is here

Active duty members, dependents and retirees are all eligible to receive a free flu vaccine. The vaccine is mandatory for all active duty members.

Active duty members are encouraged to go to building 436 Public Health Service – Preventive Medicine Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday 7 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Active duty members, dependents and retirees may also go to the Immunization Clinic in Building 1370 the Naval Health Clinic Monday, Tuesday, Thursday or Friday 7:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. or Wednesday 7:30 a.m. – noon.

The Naval Health Clinic will also be holding special weekend immunization days for all active duty members, dependents and retirees

Oct. 25, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. in the Navy Exchange parking lot (adult immunization drive thru and child immunization walk up)

Nov. 8, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. in the Navy Exchange parking lot (adult immunization drive thru and child immunization walk up)

Dec. 6, 8 a.m. – noon in the Naval Health Clinic command conference room.

The influenza consent form is required for anyone wishing to receive the flu vaccine. A copy of the consent form can be downloaded from the Naval Health Clinic Web site at http:⁄⁄www.paxriverclinic.med.navy.mil⁄
