‘‘Warrior Champions, From Baghdad to Beijing,” will be shown at Walter Reed Army Meidcal Center Tuesday at 1 p.m. in Heaton Pavilion’s Joel Auditorium.
Everyone is invited to attend the free showing.
The documentary concerns the role sports can play in rehabiltiation and pursuing one’s goal after injury.
Special guests at the showing are scheduled to include: Melissa Stockwell, an amputee and former Walter Reed patient, swimmer and member of the U.S. Paralympic team that competed in Beijing in 2008; and Heath Calhoun, also a former patient at Walter Reed, an alpine skier and member of the U.S. Paralympic team that competed in Vancouver this year.
The award-winning documentary filmmakers Brent and Craig Renaud are also scheduled to attend.
