Quantico Sentry receives recognition
The 2009 USMC Combat Correspondents Association and Division of Public Affairs Merit Awards Program recently named the Quantico Sentry the best tabloid format newspaper in the Marine Corps. Also recognized were Lance Cpl. Jahn R. Kuiper, who received an Honorable Mention for art and graphics in support of a publication, and David M. White, Quantico Sentry editor, who also received an Honorable Mention, in the best news article category.
