NEWS BRIEFS

Women’s History recognition March 25
The contributions of women have been an integral — but often overlooked — part of history. Their unselfish sacrifices have left an indelible mark and women continue to establish new benchmarks every day. In recognition of Women’s History Month, MCB Quantico and the Special Emphasis Observance Committee invites everyone to come see a presentation depicting women throughout history.

The presentation will take place March 25 in the theater at Little Hall Theater from 11 a.m. – noon. Come support your Marine, sailors, and civilians as they present and represent women who are‘‘Famous Firsts.” This base-sponsored event is open to the public. Supervisors are encouraged to afford their employees an opportunity to attend. For information, contact Gunnery Sgt. Albert Granillo at 703-423-0764.
