March Madness Bracket Challenge
Think you know who is going to take it all? Now is your time to prove it on paper! Come to the Liberty Center March 15 to pick up your blank brackets, fill them in, and return them to participate. Winner will be determined based on points which will be determined by the number of quality wins or quality losses. Brackets will be posted daily in the Liberty Center. Winner gets a prize and bragging rights! Turn in Brackets to the Liberty Center by 4 p.m. on March 15 to participate. Free. Open to E1-E6 single or unaccompanied active duty only.
Go Kart Grand Prix
March 20 is the time to fulfill your lost dream of becoming a NASCAR driver. Go Karts are fast and fun! All riding equipment will be provided. Cost is $45, and includes one 25-lap qualifying race and one 40-lap race for the championship. Trip will depart at 10 a.m. Go Kart track is at Dulles, Va. Register at the ITT office. Limited spots so register early.
Final Four Championship
Come to the Liberty Center on April 5 and find out who will prevail as the 2010 NCAA Basketball Championship Tournament draws to a close. Also find out the winner of the March Madness Bracket Challenge. Free. Open to E1-E6 single or unaccompanied active duty only.
Crime and Punishment Museum
Check out D.C.’s least-known museum. Discover the history of crime and punishment in the United States. Trip will depart at 10 a.m. The $10 cost includes transportation and museum fee. Register at the ITT office by April 7.
On-going Liberty Specials
PT at the EZ: The Energy Zone’s group exercise classes are always FREE to active-duty and retired military. Liberty E1-E6 can receive discounts on dance and specialty classes. See the Energy Zone's calendar for this month's classes.
FREE Movies: Liberty Movie Nights at the station Theater are every Wednesday and Friday nights. Cost is free for E1-E6! Just bring your military ID, sign in on the Liberty sheet and get into the movies free!
Discounted Bowling: E1-E6 can bowl weekdays from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. for $1.50 per game. (1 p.m.-6 p.m. is $2.25⁄game and 6 p.m. till close, weekends and holidays $3). The Bowling Center is located inside the Drill Hall.
