Multimedia Center moves to P-20
The Bolling Multimedia Center is moving from Bldg. 4 to Bldg. P-20, Public Affairs Ste. 219. Anyone in need of photo support should call the main public affairs number 202-767-4781. The move is a joint-base relocation move. Graphics customers can expect graphics support to also be provided in Bldg. P-20 in the very near future. Photo and graphics customers are asked to be patient as the public affairs office tries to make the move as seamless as possible. Thrift Shop needs manager
The AFOWC Thrift Shop is seeking a new manager. The hours are 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Applicants must have a valid military ID to apply. Chiefs’ Talkers, Flying Geesemeet Wednesdays

H1N1 vaccine available, mandatory
The 579th Medical Group at Bolling AFB has H1N1 vaccines available for all beneficiaries. The vaccine is mandatory for all military personnel. Anyone who wishes to be immunized against H1N1 influenza can be vaccinated; however, those in the following at-risk categories are being encouraged to be immunized as soon as possible:
- Pregnant women
- Caregivers of infants younger than 6 months old.
- Children 6 months to young adults through 24 years old.
- 4. Adults ages 25 to 65 with chronic medical conditions (such as diabetes, heart⁄lung⁄kidney disease, HIV infection, lupus)
- Health care workers and emergency services personnel

AFOWC scholarships available
The Air Force Officers’ Wives’ Club is offering scholarships to high school seniors, continuing education students and Air Force members’ dependent spouses, including retirees, residing in the Washington, D.C., area. Applicants are judged on academic and service or citizenship achievement.

Thrift Shop seeks new volunteers
The Air Force Officers’ Wives Club on Bolling Air Force Base is looking for new volunteers to work at the thrift shop located in Building 13 on Brookley Avenue. The thrift shop is open 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. It is closed for the month of August, the last two weeks of December and federal holidays. Clinic changes hours
Because of the time change for the 579th Medical Group’s readiness training, the allergy and immunization clinic operating hours on the first Wednesday of every month will be 7:30 a.m.- noon. Airmen needed for Tops In Blue
Air Force Services Agency officials here are still looking for Airmen to join the 2010 Tops In Blue team here.
The primary team for 2010 was recently announced and the team will spend 2.5 months at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas, learning the music, completing their deployment requirements, and training on serving as ambassadors for the Air Force and U.S., but additional members are needed for the team.
