Old Guard Museum Gift Shop has moved
The gift shop moved from its former location in Conmy Hall has its new location across the street, in the lobby of Town Hall. There are many new gift ideas and suggestions for new items are welcome. Additionally, DVD movies will be shown in the theater free of charge during gift shop hours. Concessions will be available. Federal Jobs Seminar Slated
The Federal Jobs seminar has been rescheduled for Thursday, Feb. 11. A Federal Job Fair will be held Thursday, Feb. 11 at Fort Myer’s ACS classroom, Bldg. 201 from 1 to 3:30 p.m. The seminar will cover finding and understanding federal vacancy announcements.
The seminar also covers navigating USAJOBS and Army CPOL, application requirements and special eligibility programs and writing effective federal resumes and KSA statements. JBM-HH Gospel Congregation Black History Month Closeout Celebration
The Gospel Congregation’s Black History Month Prayer Breakfast will be held Saturday Feb. 13, starting at 9 a.m. at Spates Community Club. The congregation’s Gospel Celebration will be held Saturday Feb. 27, starting at 1:45 p.m. at Memorial Chapel. Special guests will include Associate Justice of the United States Supreme Court, Sonia Sotomayor, Maj. Gen. Reuben Jones, commanding general, Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation Command, Sheila Stewart, community affairs director and news anchor for WKYS FM, Radio One D.C., John Blakely, White House Initiative on Historically Black Colleges and Universities, under the Dept. of Education and Judge Robert Rigsby, a colonel in the USAR, who recently returned from a tour in Iraq. Both events are being held to celebrate this year’s African American History Month.

Scholarships
The Army Engineer Officers’ Wives’ Club announces the availability of Army Engineer Memorial Awards to be given to qualifying high school seniors. AEMA awards are open to students in all fields of study. The Geraldine K. Morris award is a new scholarship available to high school seniors that intend to enroll in a program leading to a nursing degree or certification. Interactive Customer Evaluation for products and services
The Interactive Customer Evaluation system allows customers to rate services provided by Department of Defense offices and facilities world-wide. Last year, 90 percent of 803 Naval District Washington customers responded ‘‘Yes” when they were asked, ‘‘Were you satisfied with your experience at this office⁄facility?”
ICE is a Web-based tool that collects feedback on services provided by various DoD organizations. It allows customers to submit online comment cards to rate service providers they encounter. It is designed to improve services by giving managers immediate feedback from their customers.
To access our customer evaluation page on the Internet, go to http:⁄⁄ice.disa.mil. Enter the service provider name in the search field or select the location on the map where you received services, then navigate to the service. Complete the comment card.

The Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall and Fort Belvoir Exceptional Family Member Programs are sponsoring ‘‘Tricare and Other Benefits and Safety Issues for Military Parents with Children with Autism and Other Cognitive Disabilities” class and support group, Thursday, Feb. 25, from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Army Community Service, 9800 Belvoir Road, Bldg. 200, Fort Belvoir. Army Family Team Building
AFTB is an educational program which provides training that prepares everyone in America’s Army to function at the highest level, given any situation. Repair work underway
A Directorate of Public Works contractor is currently doing repair work across Forrest Circle behind Bldg. 236 (stables) and will proceed across the roadway while maintaining one lane of traffic. Flagmen are present to assist traffic. Work should be concluded in approximately two weeks.
Repairmen are also working on Wainwright Road the remainder of the week to clear limbs and make overhead line repairs. One lane of traffic will be maintained by flagmen during this time. For more information call (703) 696-3263.
MCCS Henderson Hall Fitness Classes
Smith Gym offers Zumba classes, a fusion of Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow moves, Tuesday and Thursday 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Total body conditioning classes are held Monday, Wednesday and Friday 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and Tuesday and Thursday, 6 a.m. to 7 a.m. No registration is necessary for MCCS Henderson Hall fitness classes and all sessions are free to authorized patrons. Army Community Service hosts Hearts Apart program
Army Community Service holds a support group for spouses and Families of deployed military and civilian members the second Thursday of each month from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the ACS classroom at 201 Custer Road on Fort Myer. Group discussions will focus on the emotional cycle of deployment, stress management, long distance communication, dealing with single parenting, how to prepare for a servicemembers return and reunion and other coping skills and resources. Charcoal Drawing Classes
The Fort Myer Activities Center will be holding charcoal drawing classes every Wednesday, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Students will learn the basics of charcoal drawing techniques necessary to produce a still-life drawing using five basic shapes. Divorce Recovery Workshop
