The Fort Myer and Henderson Hall staffs have a history of working together, but with the BRAC 2005 initiative, they began in earnest to coordinate, engineer and raise the level of support offered to all military personnel.
Fort Myer, Virginia, traces its origins to the Civil War and since then, has been a Signal Corps post, a showcase for Army cavalry and site of the first flight of an aircraft at a military installation.
