Welcome to Naval Branch Health Clinic, Indian Head, Md. Services provided include: routine and acute health care with limited ancillarysupport (pharmacy, laboratory, radiology) and active duty dental care.

The Indian Head Supply Operations office of Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Norfolk, Supply Management Department, Naval District Washington, provides quality supply support services to all commands and activities on board Naval Support Facility Indian Head.

Public Safety Department at NSF Indian Head consists of severalagencies working intraoperatively to provide a safe and secure environment.

The mission of the Fire and Emergency Service Division is to save lives, protect property and protect the environment from hazardous situations, both manmade and natural. The department is on duty twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, with thirty-two lead firefighters, firefighter⁄EMT’s and firefighter⁄paramedics to provide assistance to the base residents and employees when called upon. In addition to the firefighters and paramedics, there is one District Fire Chief, three Battalion Chiefs and three Fire Inspectors in the department for a total of 39personnel.

The Naval Support Facility South Potomac USO at Indian Head, MD has recently been renovated and is now open to all military members and their families.

All military personnel, active duty, retired, reserve and their families are eligible to visit the Navy Exchange.

NSF Indian Head MWR supports the quality of life for both the Military and DoD civilian employees through athletic facilities, fitness centers, recreationalprograms, child development centers, community activities and various other programs.
