In 1996, Congress amended the Safe Drinking Water Act. It added a provision requiring that all community water systems deliver to their customers a brief, annual, water quality report. The Consumer Confidence Report (CCR) summarizes information that water suppliers already collect to comply with regulations. The CCR includes information on the levels of any detected contaminants and compliance with the drinking water rules.
Fort Detrick's CCR is a summary of water quality for the water system operations of the year 2000. The CCR will be available to the Fort Detrick community on Wednesday, June 27, 2001, in the following ways:
† *Posted on the Fort Detrick webpage at: www.armymedicine.army.mil/detrick
